Noman found David Harsanyi's comments in the Denver Post on NPR's government funding to be of interest, and appends them for you consideration. "[P]ublic radio and television cater almost exclusively to the sensibilities of the urban liberal... [T]his demographic also happens to be blessed with the financial means to ensure that NPR remains a vibrant source of news." Amen. The federal government doesn't need to fund entertainment, especially when the narrow demographic that imbibes it has the means to provide it for themselves.
